Erin Zammit is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and a member of the Australian Psychology Society (MAPS).
Erin has achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education and postgraduate qualifications in Counselling. Erin has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Art and Play Therapy.
Erin is trained in a range of psychological approaches and is expert in assessing the individual needs of clients. She draws on 20 years experience working as a Primary School Teacher, School Counsellor and Private Therapist. She has vast experience working with children and young people that present with a range of difficulties including Anxiety, Depression, Grief and Loss, Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Intellectual Disability and emotional regulation issues (i.e. anger problems). She has an extensive background in psychometric testing and diagnosis of intellectual disability and learning and behavioural disorders.
Erin's experience also extends to working with adults presenting with difficulties that impair functioning and wellbeing.
She prides herself on providing individualised support in a safe, warm and confidential space.
